The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is produced by Cambridge ESOL

The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is produced by Cambridge ESOL to prepare teachers to teach English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by developing teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world. During the course you will focus on:

• different methodologies of teaching
• the 'language of teaching'
• finding, creating and effectively using resources
• the key aspects of effective lesson planning
• classroom management methods for different needs.

Our 2 available English for Teaching (TKT) courses are the 4-week Standard Plus 10 and the 8-week Standard Plus 5 course.

The start dates in 2012 for our Standard Plus 10 (4 week) English for Teaching (TKT) course are:

January 23 February 20 March 26 April 30 June 11 July 23 August 27 October 1 November 12

Exam dates February 18 March 17 April 21 May 26 July 7 August 18 September 22 October 27 December 8
